A&E Mowing is a locally owned lawn care and snow removal company. We are actively hiring for our Crew Lead position to run daily routes, manage quality, and lead a small crew.

We are also accepting applications for Team Members who want to grow into a Crew Lead role.

Crew Lead

The Crew Lead is responsible for running daily lawn and snow routes, leading 1–2 team members, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.

This is a leadership role, not just a labor position.

Crew Lead Responsibilities

• Lead daily mowing, cleanup, and snow routes

• Manage a small crew and keep jobs moving efficiently

• Ensure high-quality work with minimal callbacks

• Communicate with operations manager on progress or issues

• Maintain equipment and trucks on your route

• Track job completion & route progress

• Represent A&E Mowing professionally on properties

• Help train and guide newer team members

Crew Lead Schedule

• 40-50 hours per week April through November 

• On-call for snow plowing, plus additional winter services 

• Mostly weekday work during lawn season

• Overtime available during peak times

Lawn & Snow Team Member

We are also hiring Team Members to assist Crew Leads with daily operations. This is a great role for someone who wants steady work and the opportunity to move up.

Team Member Responsibilities

• Assist with mowing, trimming, and cleanup work

• Load and unload equipment

• Follow direction from Crew Lead

• Help maintain a clean and professional job site

• Assist with snow removal during winter events

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual

• Strong work ethic

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license required

• Lawn or snow experience preferred (not required for Team Members)
